McKinney attorney John Lin McCraw has been elected the 2016 president-elect for the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
McCraw, with the McCraw Law Group, was chosen at a special-called membership meeting last week to replace Austin lawyer Mark Kincaid, who died in January after suffering a stroke.
A board certified personal injury trial lawyer, McCraw has served on the association’s board of directors for 11 years and most recently held the position of vice president of legislative affairs during the 84th Legislature.
He graduated from Baylor Law School in 1991.
The Texas Trial Lawyers Association is a professional association made up of attorneys whose primary practice area involves representing plaintiffs in the civil justice system.
