The Texas Access to Justice Foundation, or TEAJF, will celebrate its 35th anniversary with a dinner on October 25 at the Fairmont Austin Hotel.

Bestselling author and attorney John Grisham will deliver the keynote address at the event.

Honorary co-hosts for the event are former Texas Supreme Court Chief Justices Wallace B. Jefferson and Thomas R. Phillips. Event co-hosts are Richard L. Tate, former Texas Supreme Court Justice Deborah Hankinson, Denise Scofield, Travis Torrence, and Carlos M. Zaffirini Jr.

Founded by the Texas Supreme Court in 1984, TEAJF administers funding for civil legal aid for indigent Texans. Since its inception, the foundation has granted nearly $770 million to legal aid organizations across Texas, helping more than 150,000 Texans each year to attain access to justice.
